How did they become so fucked up? What happened to them to make them seem, to normal people, to be mentally deranged? How could they possibly believe the insane things that they believe? Do they really believe those things? Why are they such horrible, nasty people when their mask of “tolerance” is stripped away? How can they believe two things that are completely opposite of each other (cognitive dissonance)?
